A Fun Fungus Friday

Today I found this little colony of mushrooms / toadstools growing a a large crack in a fallen tree tree trunk in the woods nearby.

I had my little LED panel to throw a bit of illumination on them… I still needed a highish ISO and wide aperture to get a reasonable shutter speed for a hand held shot.

Maybe I need to go back and try a focus stack … but I will need to lug a tripod along for that!
