Jean

My neighbour Jean, who lost her husband Peter a few months ago, lives a rather reclusive life in an inaccessible part of the valley made much more so with all the rain in the last year.
She lives for her horses but the delivery truck with the horse feed can’t get further up the Glen than our farm.Today I found her friend Alex planning to barrow all the feed the 3kms to Jean’s in repeated trips - I threw it all on the tractor (+ the barrow +Alex) and managed to make it up the Glen without too much difficulty. We’re all concerned how long Jean can continue living where she is.
