St Ives Estate
Had my first walk in St Ives Estate for a few months. Took my time and walked up to its highest point and then back down coming out on to the main bridleway via this path.
To make things worse, I recently injured my knee and, thinking I’d dislocated it, spent four hours in the hell hole that is the A&E dept at BRI! At ten o’clock at night, the place seemed to have ground to a halt so, after chatting with a couple of members of staff I decided to go home, take some painkillers and see how it was the next day. It slowly started easing over the next few days so it looks as though I must have just jarred it and not dislocated it.
My walk was it’s first test and it passed. Phew, I was getting worried as it hurt so much when I tried to change gear and our Scotland trip is fast approaching.
No coffee as I finished my walk at lunchtime and the Ivy Kitchrn was very busy.
