We have had some unbelievable bouts of rain these past couple of days. This morning, it struck before dawn and woke up half the town, by the sound of things!

A couple of hours later, the clouds were very bright and illuminated the drying water on the roads. I liked the look of it :-)

Also, if this photo teaches you one thing, let it be that Wellington has no such thing as flat roads!
