Jog along the estuary

Quite breezy but sunny and warm, 3 miles out 3 miles back with lots to see and hear. The shovel I presume was left behind by a fisherman hunting for bait, unless there’s some quicksand there! Seven herons in one place suggests a healthy supply of food here in the Taw estuary, oystercatchers both numerous and vocal, curlews were less numerous but the few that were there were very vocal. Auntie has been out with one of her enablers and her children, lots of fun and laughter was had. Unfortunately I think maybe too much and the evening was a very confused time. It’s a difficult balance of calm and stimulation.
