The Patient Fisherman...

Such a beautiful day today that I decided to go for a little wander with my camera during my lunch hour. Had a nice leisurely stroll along the Water of Leith from Tanfield to Stockbridge. Got a few good shots.

Just as I was about to put my camera away and head back to work, I spied a heron waiting patiently for it's lunch. Not sure how many fish he's going to catch in the Water of Leith, but good luck to him.

Wasn't sure which image to post today. I was torn between the one above (which you can see larger here) and this one. I also considered this picture I got of a swan.
