"Blossom"

Walking back from church under cloudless blue skies I decided to go through the park and enjoy the most of more sunshine! Aside from summer like weather conditions, there was a gale force wind blowing which was how I noticed the small pink blossom petals floating around.

Gale force winds in sunshine = the cherry blossom is in bloom.....

It's so sad that something so pretty has such a short lifespan, all thanks to the weather attacking something so fragile and spring-like! O well, petals everywhere is better than dried up winter leaves everywhere I guess! haha! And I guess it's instant confetti for brides at this time of year!

Another lazy day today - I could get used to weekends like this! :) But Monday is only a sleep away......
