A new friend

Today started out cloudy, so the weather was pleasant when I headed down to get my EPO shot, where I was able to park on the level right by the door.  Afterward I went to return an Amazon package, and in that short time the temperature went up 4 degrees.  Then it was onto QFC because I was literally out of bread. The temperature was the same, but it felt much hotter. I was glad to get home and out of the sun.

I met my new parking neighbor today and I think we will be friends.  She moved back here from Texas, which she found a dreadful place to live.  She was a counselor before retirement and is clearly a liberal, and we joked about what's going on in our crazy country. I don't recall if I've mentioned that the space on the other side of my car is occupied by a very large truck that doesn't really fit the space.  Since the other space has been empty for a few months, it wasn't a problem as I just parked farther away from the truck, over the line into the next space.  Now that the space has a new occupant it's really impossible for us to safely get in and out of the space or even open our doors.  Jill took some photos of the situation which she will bring to building management, in hope that they will move the truck.
