Coltsfoot Daisies

It's been a beautiful day, if a little cold. Decided when I came home from work to go for a cycle. Couldn't find very much to enthuse about, then I saw these coltsfoot daisies, silhouetted against the sky and some oof trees. Thought it was unusual enough to merit a few shots, and this is the result. It's actually a colour shot but it looks almost mono.

Almost forgot. Saw my first swallow today. Last day of April this year. It's usually mid March when they make an appearance, certainly by Easter. Just shows what a long winter it's been.
