Good To End On A Positive Note

I took Jack out for a hack with Lucy and her horse Will. He was a bit tense, no surprise as this was a new experience for him, but he coped well and was great with the traffic. I was happy to keep it a short outing as I was still feeling a bit bruised after yesterday and it was good to end on a positive note.

We didn’t have much planned for the rest of the day, so once Sushi was home from his job, we decided to go out for lunch as Eldest is heading back next week to finish his Master’s dissertation and get ready to start work the week after. We just went to the local garden centre, but it was so busy we were lucky to get a table.
