Heads of sunflower

Some giant sunflowers have appeared suddenly in my field of vision, when I’m sitting working at home. How they’ve survived is bewildering. They weren’t watered for the 2 weeks we were away.

It was a home day, with some serious loads of washing going on and out. I’ve even cleaned the dogs’ beds.

My ankle still hurts and I still can’t run. It’s so frustrating. It’s nearly 6 weeks. :-(
