Ooohh Betty

We went to the spa town of Harrogate today and partook of the full afternoon tea, in the original Betty's tearoom. I've managed a scone and jam everyday of holiday, but this was a bit special and tasted every bit as good as it looked. We also visited the pump rooms and smelt the stench of the Harrogate water... Betty's was the best bit.


Now our holiday cottage is lovely, it's quiet, it's right in the centre of York, it's really well furnished, there was even milk, bread, strawberries, scones and a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. The only thing that's missing is broadband... so you're going to get little batches of uploads from cafes around York that have wifi...
