Happy campers

I pack for Doune The Rabbit Hole and my three week trip to the USA. Then it’s off to Maybury where I meet Kerry at lunchtime. I transfer my festival stuff to her car and we’re off.

There’s a long queue of cars at the festival site, but they get us moving and we’re parked reasonably close to the entrance. The next queue is for our wristbands, and that moves quite quickly too.

We find a spot just off the main drag and get set up. The bands are supposed to have started already, but the performance zone still hasn’t opened.

When it does, we catch Goat Girl and Patti Smith among others. There’s lots of great food. And much much later we catch up with Alan and Sandra in the camper van section - which leads to a very late night.
