Ford

Have the traffic report  broadcasts been withdrawn? I ask because we seem to have heard only one in recent months and that was for the M25, a few hundred miles miles from our position and would have appreciated an alert to the extremely long queue of traffic on the A1 today.

After coffee at the Drift Café we intended continuing to Eyemouth but, having spent some time in the traffic turned back and pottered through country lanes of East Lothian to visit Woodhall Dean Wildlife Reserve. It was a pleasant walk below trees (a great many of Hazel), following the Woodhall Burn but, through confusion, missed the route for the circular walk. A few markers might have made the path clear! 

Our way home took us over the Brock Burn through a ford, photo adjusted as taken through the windscreen.
