The Deeside 100

Well I managed to do it - 100 miles on a bike in a little over 7 hours cycling. We were lucky with the weather : next to no wind and sunny blue skies. Our route took us from Torphins out to Drumoak then west up Deeside along the south of the river to Balmoral and then back via Ballater and Aboyne. Refreshments were taken at the Park Shop, Finzean farm shop, the Crathie tea room and the Boat in at Aboyne. We left at 8 40 am and got back at 6 45pm. A grand day out.
