Computer Says No

So, there we were starting to accelerate down the runway at Glasgow Airport heading back to Sumburgh, when suddenly the aircraft computer (we were told) said No.  In this case "No, we're not configured for take off".  We stopped in the middle of the runway where the suggested fix was  (in best IT speak) "Turn It Off & Turn It Back On Again" - a slightly more nuanced version suggested that we get off the main runway first!

We trundled back to the gate and sat for a wee while, while different options were explored.  The picture was taken while we sat waiting, the sharper eyed amongst you will have spotted a second Saab 340 sitting at the gate. 

Eventually the obvious solution was arrived at - and we all just jumped into the other plane...  the flight (at the second attempt) was delightfully uneventful.
