Wild

There was talk of wild swimming this morning, but the sea was ready to show us just who was wildest! My girl wisely retreated.

First morning where bakery pastries were consumed for breakfast, then a trip to Orford. A chocolate box village, where we walked along the river, and into town.

Onwards to Sutton Hoo, the site of the biggest Anglo Saxon discoveries and the plot of the film The Dig. The viewing tower and house were thoroughly enjoyable.

And now the girl & her beau have returned to the smoke. It's quiet without them.
