On the road

A sunny day along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. We drove up through western Maryland - a beautiful billowing landscape of big hills and big trees whose shapes seem to match that of the clouds. Then west across the Appalachians and miles of lackadaisical road construction (nothing seems to have changed in that regard in the past decades!). Spent the night in Elyria, Ohio after a maybe six and a half hour drive.
