Berlin

Lorna refers to the city of Berlin four times in her Diary of the war  (as blipped by hazelh between September 1939 and January 2021). The mentions are in the entries for:

3rd September 1939 (the day that war was declared)
6th September 1939
29th September 1939
30th November 1939

These dates are covered in the first three episodes of our podcast series of The diary of war, in which Lorna is played by her great-great-niece Bethany Ray.
