Surreal

The clouds and the sun combined to give a surreal feeling at the Snow Farm this morning. It was a bit windy, but still wonderful to be up there for our walk today.

The extra is a photo of our “upside down” fire building. I wasn’t convinced that putting big logs at the bottom, then another layer of logs and then paper and twigs on top was much different. However, it does seem to light easily and we don’t have to put any extra wood on for ages. Do others use this method?

Last day of August - Spring starts tomorrow and there is snow in the forecast….so guess we will be having more fires yet!
