Mouth Wide Open

Feels like a bit of a lazy capture for a Tiny Tuesday entry but on the other hand aren't Orchids amazing plants!. We have one that sits in a pot on our kitchen window and most of the time you think "why do we keep that there it just looks like a dead stick", then without warning it suddenly springs to life like this and you are glad you didn't throw it out!
The first thing that came into my head when I took this was of some crazy mouth on a weird alien creature, hence the title.
