Wildside
What a magnificent day out.
Terri and I went to Wildside, a wonderful three acre garden created from a flat field. Huge thanks to Diane, aka Gilesy, fellow blipper, who works here for arranging to welcome us. We wandered around the various areas and were blown away at the variety and wonder of the plants that have managed to survive the drought. I also got a shot of a 'dragon' - there were a couple in different parts of the garden.
My blip shows part of the Canyons where a Cancer Respite Garden has been created in memory of the cofounder, Rose Wiley who sadly passed away from lung cancer.
Do please look at the website - Wildside Gardens - it is an amazing place and so worth a visit.
I can't wait to go back in Spring.
After Wildside we popped over to Buckland Abbey and had a quick stroll around Sir Walter Raleigh's home.
