Full flow

Eventually had our kitchen tap replaced today. The tap came with the new kitchen we had fitted back in Dec 2020 and it soon became apparent that the hot water lever was loose and wouldn't stay tight however much we tried. The fitters promised to replace it but for reasons we have never got to the bottom of it has taken well over 20 months to get to this stage. Still it's done now and hopefully this one will be ok. 
Consequently I was late getting out and a bit pushed for inspiration for a blip, until I bumped in to Joe Martin. 
Joe is the farmer who manages the local wetlands, which are not very wet at the moment. He was up by Denver Sluice Complex photographing the Diversion Sluice which was flowing at full force. 
There are many sluices at Denver Sluice complex each with their own job and the job of the Diversion Sluice is to feed the Cut Off Channel which in turn feeds two reservoirs nearly 80 mile away in Essex. 
As Joe pointed out the job of the Diversion Sluice is to deliver "excess water" to Essex and at a time when his use of water around here was extremely restricted the idea that this was excess water was hard for him to believe. He was not happy and he intended to tell this to the Environment Agency. I just hope the farmers of Norfolk get something in return from Essex - wars have been started over less! 
Anyway I took my inspiration  from Joe and took a pick of Essex's water to be. It was either that or a pic of our new tap.
