Waiting for breakfast
A beautiful sunny morning. As I stocked the feeders Mr & Mrs Robin stared down at me. They rarely perched together so could only capture one at a time. As the meal worms came out they became more and more inpatient. One perched about 18 inches away from me but only for about a nano second.
As I stepped back one of the robins grabbed a meal worm. And then did the most amazing thing and passed it on to the other robin. Beak to beak. Oh if I could have captured that!
