Low Water

I had a lovely walk this morning. It was a little cooler than of late so I was glad I’d put on a fleece. There are some fine views to be had in all directions on this walk Just a 3 miler only a couple of minutes drive from home. This one takes some beating and today was as clear as I’d ever seen it. Two reservoirs - Agden and Dale Dike visibly very low, and on the skyline, Win Hill beyond Ladybower with just a hint of the purple heather remaining, I went to check some of my go- to fungi spots first - nothing doing yet. It was impossible to resist picking a few blackberries. It’s a great year for them.
