Big and bountiful

There is already a plentiful supply of large acorns around. Good to look at no reason for squirrels to have to visit our bird feeders. 
A day spent on the computer searching for flights to the USA for Thanksgiving and a replacement battery for our lawn mower that does not seem to be available anymore. I have also been trying to renew our energy supply contract that runs out at the end of the month. No chance, as the chaos of the energy markets means that companies are unable to offer anything other than variable rate contracts at present. You would expect that a government that believes in the free market might be trying to do more to make it work for customers (or doesn't it matter as we are just dependent consumers?) Tired eyes and frustration.
