DIFFERENT TIMES

Even though its been a Bank Hol Ive just had a normal Monday.  Got a few chores out of the way and then had a wander down to the village to do some shopping.  Not many people about.

The Mono Monday theme today is Peculiar/Quirky.  Nothing caught my eye while I was out but I had been looking through some old newspapers yesterday and remembered seeing some unusual advertisements.  I guess they weren't unusual at the time but now they seem very strange.  The one I've chosen to blip featured in the Daily Sketch dated May 13th 1937. Better get those shoes polished girls --- if you want to attract the opposite sex!  Thanks to Mole for hosting
