Almost ready

This apple tree has a good yield this year. It is a cooking apple and is a very small, young tree. We had to support some of the branches to stop them breaking with the wait of the apples. Our other two trees, one new, one older, have not done so well. We were out for coffee with friends this afternoon and I had finished my empire biscuit before I remembered to take a photo. I was about to snap the crumbs when the waitress arrived to take the plates away.
