Striking spikes

Near the entrance to Pocket Park these beautiful pink flowers have appeared.  Having looked them up on Google I think they might be Rosebay willowherb.

We met a elderly local man in Pocket Park who joined us and was very chatty but kept forgetting names of things.  After he'd received a couple of phone calls from his wife we realised she was worried about him, and walked him home.  Dementia is a very difficult and heart-breaking condition to live with.  I know as my Mum had it for years.
