Treat
Katie was amazing in church this morning, despite being on her knees tired. She played bassoon and saxophone, we threw an additional song in while the service was already underway after someone (who was leaving) asked in the middle of the service for a particular one, she played a beautiful solo to accompany a meditation. She was fabulous helping one of the toddlers with the craft activity. She did great.
After the service, we dropped all the stuff home, returned the borrow cymbal (I made my debut in the band for the closing song!) and went to buy a picnic. We were heading to a craft fair at a nearby country house. I had taken a special piece of sea glass to a lovely lady to make into a pendant for me and it was ready to collect. While we were there, Katie fell in love with this piece of milk glass. The lady's prices were crazy good so I suggested Katie might like this. She was so excited. We had a great picnic in the sunshine, she visited the skeleton of the sperm whale that resides in the House outbuildings, we wandered the drive and the edge of the grounds a bit.
Beyond that, she was quite a tired girlie and it was a slobby movie kind of day.
