Back to front
There has been a bit of sun today but not much, pretty typical of a Bank Holiday. Bank holidays aren’t very exciting when you’re retired and we’ve basically had a normal Monday.
We went to singing as usual this morning. A complete run through of all the songs from our forth coming concert.
We were given our new folders for the concert. Yes given, last week when I asked him he said they were going to be loaned but we’ve been given them with strict instructions that they can only be used for performances not rehearsals!
After we did our normal M&S shop followed by a coffee in Costa. The only nod to the B holiday today is we don’t have a church choir practice this evening.
This is our garden view of our unexpected sunflower - left. It’s just above my head height and almost impossible to photograph the lovely flower as it is growing against our neighbour’s fence looking the other way!
We’ve been looking after their cats whilst they have been away so yesterday I took a couple of sneaky shots of the great flower head from the other side - the right hand pictures in the collage.
If you are in England and Wales I hope you had a good holiday, think there’s been good weather in the SW so the family will be happy.
A bit of knitting now.
