Damp

I saw this house in Allendale Town. I asked a friend I bumped into as I was taking the photo whether it was inhabited and I was told it is. Above the black front door you see the result of long-standing leaking gutters and down pipes. My house has cast iron gutters and down pipes and I check and clean them every autumn. Leaks on the joints are a perennial problem though.
