A Gorgeous Day

...weather-wise. The best of summer really. Cool and dry with a little breeze. Unfortunately I spent much of the night coughing...I just could not get it under control, so I was tired today and didn't do a whole lot. I know, I know, that was a good thing. But I really wanted to work in the garden all day ;-)

Instead I puttered around, trying to figure out why my rye sourdough starter wasn't working and starting the 2nd fermentation on my kombucha (my first batch!) 

I did get out to the garden with my camera and this lovely, sunny, zinnia seemed to be begging to have it's photo taken. Look at those lovely contrasts and patterns!
