Boardwalk and heather

We had an excellent walk today through Roudsea Wood National Nature Reserve which includes an area of raised bog - hence the boardwalk. There is a numbered nature walk with fascinating details about the fauna, flora and industrial archaeology within the woodlands. A good trip !
