Chippenham (Sunday 28th August 2022)

I was in Chippenham this afternoon and had a short walk on the River Island side of the Avon to the town centre bridge and then back alongside Monkton Park to the bridge that led up to St Mary Street, where the car was. This was taken on the approach to an earlier footbridge, as was the first Extra (the second shows the view East from the bridge that leads to the car). The same swan family are in all three shots.

I called at Hazeland Mill on the way home. There's a new conservation area there but it isn't yet open to the public.
