Flotilla

A walk down from my son's place along the river Soar to the centre of Leicester today. This family of swans came swimming towards me - would be rude not to photograph them.

In the city centre there were some Bank Holiday weekend events including Storm - a 10m high puppet. Storm was designed and built in Scotland. She represents a Sea Goddess who emerged from the sea to teach us all about the seas and oceans. 

She looked scary to me. The mum of the little girl in the extra thought it would scare her too, but, she loved being up close.
