Then it all went wrong. Morning fine, nice trip along canal towards the Thames. Got the toilet pumped on the way (it takes about 55 flushes to fill the tank)

Moored in Hanwell where Daughter and boyfriend met us so we could all have a nice late lunch. Weather was sunny and not too hot.

Then, pushing the boat of the the side, the ground gave way and my leg went between a metal thing and the canal. It hurt. I could not really walk.
