Low tide, high cloud … and a sunset

Hubby finished delivering the leaflets around Remuera this morning, while I gave the shower a thorough scrub - oh what an exciting life we lead! That finished we went to Parnell to pick up the open home signs.  Whilst there, we investigated a walkway around Hobson Bay.  We didn’t go far, just checked out, as much as we could, where the walkway went.  There were lots of trees by the path and it was lovely to hear the birdsong. The tide was way, way out, but the view was interesting nonetheless. After having a coffee at home, we picked Mum up and took her with us while we collected the remainder of the open home signs.  She enjoyed getting out and seeing the sunshine and the sea as we drove around the waterfront.

Whilst checking out the walkway I took a couple of photos of the empty bay with white clouds and blue sky overhead.  Sometime later I managed to get a photo of dramatic sky at sunset.

The Covid numbers are no longer reported on the weekend.
