Grey butcherbird

Butcher birds are native to Australia and New Zealand. I managed to snap this one in Sydney Park where it is feeling like spring if the number and range of birds are anything to go by.

Butcher birds eat insects and other invertebrates, and will also go for lizards and other small vertebrates. They have a beautiful song.
