Blue Mountains
It wasn’t raining this morning so after leaving the accommodation we went down the road to Echo Point to see the Three Sisters. It is very touristy and hard to find a car park in peak times so going early was a good idea. We found one nearby with P1 on a sign. Great, we locked up and walked down to take some photos. We were only there five minutes and when we got back to the car the man from the council was about to give us a ticket. We didn’t realise you needed to pay. Typical country folk, that’s something we don’t do out west. He said if we went and got a ticket now he wouldn’t fine us $120. Wow, lucky we didn’t linger. Cost $8 for this blip.
The main hasn’t the best light, I did lighten it but took out the nice fog so you’ll have to put up with the dark cliffs. The lower picture is a close up of the walkway out to the first Sister. I went out there back in my younger days but not inclined to go down these days with my knees.
We are now home, just as we arrived we had a visitor we hadn’t seen for years. She was returning a cycling jersey she had borrowed about 15 years ago. Fancy that.
