Last night

I believe tonight was the last night of the Tattoo. On previous Saturday nights we have either been away or under low cloud so I have not been able to try and photograph the fireworks.

The main firework display to end the Festival has been cancelled so this was my last opportunity. Our son was at a Saturday night Tattoo and reported that the display lacked ooomph. He was there on a low cloud night but this evening’s visible display confirmed it. It seemed no greater than every night’s closing fireworks when, previously, the late show on Saturday benefitted from a longer display.

So few opportunities from 2 miles away to take photos and a bit of editing afterwards required to produce this blip.

It is also the last night of looking after the”Lancaster” dog as we are returning him to his owners tomorrow. While our dog tolerates him he will be pleased to have his territory back and all our attention!
