Thirsty

It’s not a very good picture but as we were walking to the cabin this morning from the staff car park we stopped off at the aviary. This little mouse caught my eye climbing up the bird bath to have a drink of water. He sat there for some time before scurrying away.
Apparently there is a food festival in Lichfield this weekend and this usually means fewer visitors to the garden centre. But listening to people who came to my shop today the car parking is lacking, the crowds are unbearable and the garden centre is a much more pleasant place to be….good news for our lovely little businesses.
