Focus and foresight

A monument in Den Haag, not far from the Houses of Parliament what I love lots; it's here since 2017 and was realised by the artist Thom Puckey.

It's made of two different materials, that is Carrara marmor, what originates from Tuscany, Italy for the part with the 19th C politician J.R. Thorbecke who looks onto the small tower of the Houses of Parliament where he held office and now our MP does, and stainless steel part with the officials in consultation; a scene we can find in any of the ministeries nowadays... since the ninties at the least, I remember from working there then.
