Meet Maurice . . . who is retiring (again) from sheep farming.

He used to own a farm but for many years now has helped Marcus out at lambing time. Long days - today will be from 5 this morning until about 4 tonight when the next team take over.

By the end of the week they may be nearly finished for this year and keeping fingers crossed that the lambs survive both weather and attacks from fox and other nocturnal mammals.
