Where have all the flowers gone

I’ve been kinda concerned that the beautiful wall of ivy from our neighbour over the back was increasing in size to the point where I thought it may bring the fence down, as it was now 3ft over the top of the fence .


I spoke to the neighbour and she happily agreed to allow me to get another neighbour who is a Gardner to sort it out for us.

The Gardner neighbour text me on Thursday to say she was going ahead on Friday.


When I came home this is the sight before me…..

To have some idea of the difference look at the extra from two years ago! The hedge on Thursday was higher than the bamboo.


Neighbour over the back has not yet spoke to me… am not sure that is a good sign

But now. I start work on getting the leylandi removed and the bay tree trimmed
