Still cranking ‘em out!

Despite Summer coming to an end, there are still plenty of very young Starlings in the garden, and today I spotted newly fledged Sparrows out there too. Looking at this skinny, half-moulted parent, I think it’s time to call it a day for this year. Also the youngster looks to have a tic under its eye, poor thing!
I went to a local shopping  centre today to pick up something I’d ordered online. The changes since my last visit made me realise that I hadn’t been there since pre-pandemic.That still left me time to watch some cricket and spend some time in the garden.
