Steaming along
Martin and I had a great afternoon in Bo’ness, near Falkirk.
It’s one of our favourite places, mainly because it’s home to the silent film festival (takes place each March) that we have been attending for the last ten years.
Anyway, we had a lunch in the amazing Rooney’s Hope Street Cafe (previously Brian’s cafe) before heading over to see Karen who runs ‘Inkspot and Silverleaf’, one of the best independent bookshops in the UK,, after which we had a walk round the harbour to the train station, which is home to the Bo’ness to Kinneil Railway.
Here’s the one of the steam trains, taking people out for afternoon tea.
I hope you have had a good Saturday.
