Ice Creams

A while ago, the guardian published a list of reader top ten Ice Cream parlours & we were amazed to see one on Islandmagee
Today we’ve been to browns bay (beach) in a strong north wind with rain or drizzle for company but it’s the seaside, so we’re having an ice cream
We pull up in the car park outside what looks like a converted 30’s cinema & my dad announced it used to be a dance hall!
All the big show bands used to play here & yes my dad did go to the dances there
PS the ice cream was good & they also stocked a good deli, some leggings, remote controlled cars& paint stripper
