I wondered if he’d left it too late to get back to his home. Today’s the first day of Spring, but it’s still chilly at times. We had a quite a sharp frost this morning but it didn’t hang around for too long.

It’s been a beautiful day, cloudless from the crack of dawn till sunset. Garden tasks this morning, including spreading the latest compost out. We had a lovely walk this afternoon along Whitechapel Rd to my daughter & son-in-law’s, saw their new chooks, and walked back again.
