Jillian's Journal

Morning, High on the Hills above Sumner

A more subdued view of my area today, after last night's colourful car trails along the containers. There was fog lying over North Brighton this morning, all along the coast too, and I suspected over the city too. I thought that taking a photo earlier than later would be a good idea, not wanting to get into the fog - it's suddenly got colder today too. So! I drove well up Clifton Hill, and got this view from the park near the top.

My daughter and I've filled in the day doing all sorts of things - and one of them was she became a Blipper last night! She's WirihanaSouth and has been having a wonderful time trawling through many journals, and finding heaps that I've never seen! It's great having her help around the house too. The knee's sort of okay, and ACC have okayed the op funding, which is fantastic news. I've also had some contact, at last, from EQC (NZ's Earthquake Commission), trying to make some sense of the confusion between themselves and the Insurance company, regarding my house repairs. I suspect that that will take a while longer to resolve.
